The Riverside Port
Where Trade Met the River.
Long before modern roads, the Chao Phraya River was one of Bangkok's most important trading routes. The riverside port at Songwat House once welcomed boats carrying agricultural goods, serving as a place for loading, unloading, and drying crops. Today, the boats and goods have given way to a peaceful riverside setting, offering beautiful views of the Chao Phraya River.
